Red Food is a food that seems to resemble a light drop of blood, but it is not. It can't be eaten or stored in the social stomach, but it can be fed to the queen. Red Food spawns whenever a Termite Queen dies. Red Food never spawns naturally, and you have to put a lot of effort to get one.
Uses
Red Food is the key to creating a new Alate, which can create a new Queen and ultimately increase the population of the colony by a lot. Red Food will be very important late game, it provides a way to create a new nest and sneak up on enemies.
