A Pupa is the third and final stage in an ant's Development and looks a lot like a dead ant, just white. Once fully developed, Pupae will become Ants. A Pupa's growth time is also significantly lower than other stages, except in the case of the four Nanitic Pupae created in a new colony. Pupae are created either by a Larva growing or when an Anthill is created.
Creation[]
Pupa can only be created when an Egg develops into a Larva, and the Larva is fed when it becomes hungry, except in the case of a new Anthill being created by an Alate. When this happens, four Nanitic pupae spawn that take longer than normal Pupa to develop.
Cost[]
Pupa cost the amount that the Egg cost, because they are a direct development from the Egg. Therefore, they do not have a cost, unless you count the one food that you need to feed to a Larva before it develops into a Pupa.
Notes[]
- The four Nanitic Pupae that spawn when an Alate creates an Anthill are not claimable, and when an enemy ant tries to pick one up, it disappears into thin air.
- When trying to steal Pupae, be careful, because unless you are sure that they were just developed, you don't know if the Pupa will be born before you have a chance to grab it, and if you are too late, the enemy ant will start biting you immediately.
