An Anate in Antwar.io is a bug that provides Meat along with the Beetle and Spider Carcass. They spawn randomly in Spring, Summer, and less frequently, Autumn. However, they cannot be found in Winter. They are slightly faster than Beetles.
Uses[]
Anates are used for food. When killed, they drop 6 Meat. They are one of the primary sources of Meat, with the other being the Beetle. When trying to kill one, it is best to attack with your ants from the front, because if you attack from any other direction, you will end up trying to bite its abdomen. If this happens while the Anate is moving, it will be quite hard to kill it.
Statistics[]
The Anate's 100 health means that it can be killed with 20 hits by a Nanitic or 13 by a Worker. They move slightly faster than Beetles, but are still slow in general with only 3 total speed. They do not deal any damage, making them an easy source of food early game.
Creation[]
Anates spawn naturally (and randomly) in the map. They can be found in Spring, Summer, and sometimes Autumn. They do not spawn in Winter.
